See me as I am
A project initiated by Pinarc Disability Support to portray the essential humanity of a person with a disability.
The combination of the photographic portraits and the accompanying words force us to examine and reconsider our internal responses to those with a disability – to look beyond the condition to see the person as they really are.
“I’ve got a disability and you don’t.
So What.”
“I’m a bit different.
Who isn’t?”
“I can’t talk like you.
Deal with it.”
“I can’t walk like you.
Get over it.”
